  • Do I need to make a reservation online?

    No, walk-ins are welcome. Subject to availability.

    If you have a larger party and would like to check our availability to avoid waiting, you may give us a call at (214)817-8570.

  • Do you host private events?

    Yes. We host private events Monday-Wednesday. Private Events require a minimum of 2 lanes for 2-hours.

  • What is League?

    We are a World Axe Throwing League Affiliate. There are four league seasons per year. League members have the chance to earn spots in the US Open and World Championship aired on TV and streaming services. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

  • Do you sell food or alcohol?

    Food: We have a small selection of non-perishable snacks. You are welcome to bring meals in or have it delivered here!

    Alcohol: We are currently a BYOB venue - Beer and Wine ONLY. ID checks will be required. Additionally, we have the right to search coolers/cups, as liquor is not allowed. Remember to drink responsibly, as staff members reserve the right to ask persons to leave at any time.

  • Isn’t throwing sharp stuff like axes and knives dangerous?

    Short Answer: No! According to statistics it’s safer than going to your local 7-Eleven or going bowling.

    Longer Answer: Battle Axes staff is made up of professional axe and knife throwing coaches that teach participants to throw safely and accurately, and axe and knife throwing are statistically safer than going bowling.  That’s right - far more people get hurt bowling than going and throwing sharp stuff.

    According to our insurance agent (we have great insurance!), there are nearly 0 insurance claims related to axe throwing, annually.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Customers will receive a refund or opportunity to reschedule within 48 hours notice of scheduled booking. If cancelled with less than a 48-hour notice, customers can reschedule for another date and time or receive store credit in the form of a gift card. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about rescheduling. Refunds will not be given due to downsizing. 

    Large parties, team buildings, or corporate events are subject to the cancellation policy provided at the time of booking. 

    Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.  

    No shows, Leagues, and Tournaments are not eligible for a refund.
